These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Civilian Rifleman (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), regarding your use of the website located at https://civilianrifleman.com (the “Site”) and the purchase or use of any products, courses, or services offered through the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, purchasing any course or product, or otherwise engaging with our content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all use of the Site.
These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy (available at https://civilianrifleman.com/privacy-policy/), as well as any separate Shipping Policy, Return Policy, or other policies posted on the Site. All such policies form part of these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence) and have the full legal capacity to enter into this agreement. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from or sell to minors.
2. Compliance With Laws
You are solely responsible for complying with all local, state, federal, and international laws applicable to:
- Firearms ownership
- Firearms accessories
- Equipment purchases
- Digital training materials
- Self-defense laws
We make no representation that products or content are lawful in your jurisdiction.
3. Products & Purchases
All Products are subject to availability and our separate Shipping/Return Policy. Descriptions are for informational purposes only; actual products may vary slightly in color or detail.
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel orders
- Limit quantities
- Correct pricing errors
- Cancel suspected fraudulent orders
You agree that all information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
4. Digital Products
Digital Courses: Purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not download (except where expressly permitted within the course), copy, reproduce, distribute, share login credentials, record, publicly display, or commercially exploit any course content. Access duration is as specified at the time of purchase (typically lifetime unless otherwise stated), subject to these Terms.
All digital downloads, including guides, PDFs, courses, checklists, and instructional materials:
- Are licensed, not sold
- Are for personal, non-commercial use only
- May not be reproduced, redistributed, shared, or resold
Unauthorized distribution may result in legal action.
All digital sales are final unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
5. Orders, Payments, and Billing
All orders are subject to our acceptance and may be cancelled by us for any reason. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). You agree to pay all applicable charges, taxes, and fees. If we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity, we may cancel your order and refund any payment received.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including courses, videos, text, graphics, logos, images, and materials (“Content”)—is the exclusive property of Civilian Rifleman or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The marks “Civilian Rifleman” and related logos are our trademarks.You receive only the limited license described in Section 3. Any unauthorized use (including reverse engineering, derivative works, or commercial exploitation) is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
You may not:

- Reproduce
- Republish
- Modify
- Distribute
- Create derivative works
without prior written consent.
7. User Conduct and Prohibited Use
You agree not to use this Site to:
- Violate any laws
- Infringe intellectual property
- Engage in fraud
- Reverse engineer digital products
- Interfere with site functionality
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Share account access, course materials, or login credentials.
- Copy, distribute, or publicly display any Content.
- Engage in hacking, scraping, or any activity that could damage the Site.
- Provide false information or impersonate others.
We reserve the right to terminate access at our discretion.
8. Assumption of Risk
Firearms and related training involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death.
By using this Site or purchasing products, you:
- Voluntarily assume all risks
- Accept full responsibility for your actions
- Agree that Civilian Rifleman is not liable for injury, damage, or loss resulting from use or misuse of products or information
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civilian Rifleman shall not be liable for:
- Direct damages
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Special damages
- Punitive damages
- Loss of profits
- Personal injury
- Death
- Data
- Property damage
- Goodwill
arising from use of the Site, products, or content.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the specific course or product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Civilian Rifleman and its affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Any activity you undertake based on our materials.
- Your use or misuse of the Site, Content, or Products;
- Your violation of these Terms or any law; or
- Replication of techniques shown in content
11. Refunds, Returns, Chargebacks and Cancellations
Refund policies are governed by our separate Refund Policy.
Digital Courses and Content: Due to the instantaneous nature of digital delivery, all digital sales are final. No refunds or cancellations will be issued once access has been granted, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Physical Products: Generally, returns may be accepted within 30 days if in original, unused condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns in cases of abuse or misuse.
Initiating a fraudulent chargeback while retaining access to digital materials or products constitutes breach of contract.
We reserve the right to:
- Submit evidence to payment processors
- Pursue recovery of funds
- Recover legal fees associated with disputes
12. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, or services linked from this Site.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Binding Arbitration (Strong Protection Clause)
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, products, or services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in the State of Colorado.
Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree:
- To waive the right to trial by jury
- To waive participation in class action lawsuits
- That arbitration shall be individual only
Each party shall bear its own legal fees unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.
15. Class Action Waiver
You agree that any claims shall be brought solely in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of changes.
18. User Accounts
Certain features (including course access) require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@civilianrifleman.com of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason (including breach of these Terms). Upon termination, your license to access courses ends immediately, and no refunds will be issued.
