This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made on CivilianRifleman.com. It covers both our digital courses and physical products. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. This policy is subject to change; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your order.

1. Digital Courses

Digital courses are delivered electronically.

  • Upon successful payment and completion of account registration on our website, your course(s) will be available immediately in your student dashboard.
  • No physical shipping or delivery charges apply to digital products.
  • Access is tied to your registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

2. Physical Products

We are a one-man operation at the time of updating this policy and personally handle order processing and fulfillment. We strive for speed but build flexibility into our timeline to maintain quality and accuracy.

Processing Time

  • Standard processing: 3–7 business days from the date your order is confirmed and payment is received.
  • During periods of high order volume, processing may extend to 7–14 business days.
  • We will send you an email if your order will take longer than 7 business days.

Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays and any announced shop closures.

Shipping Methods, Costs, and Transit Times

  • Shipping is available to addresses in the United States (including APO/FPO where permitted by the carrier). International shipping is not currently offered but may be added in the future, contact us for inquiries or special requests.
  • We ship via reputable carriers (primarily USPS, with UPS or FedEx where appropriate).
  • You (the buyer) pay all shipping costs. Exact shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on product weight, dimensions, shipping method selected, and destination.
  • Estimated total delivery time = processing time + carrier transit time (typically 2–7 business days for domestic standard shipping; expedited options may be available at checkout).
  • Tracking information is provided by email once your order ships.

Taxes and Duties

  • You (the buyer) are responsible for paying all applicable taxes, including sales tax, use tax, VAT, GST, or any customs/import duties.
  • Where required by law, sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout. In jurisdictions where we do not collect tax, you remain responsible for remitting any applicable use tax directly to your taxing authority.
  • All taxes and duties are paid by you at the time of purchase.

3. Order Cancellations, Changes, and the FTC Mail Order Rule

  • You may cancel or change your order only before it has been processed (usually within the first 24–48 hours). Contact us immediately.
  • Once processing has begun, changes or cancellations are not guaranteed.
  • Per the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail Order Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 435), if we are unable to ship your physical order within 30 days of the date you placed it (or any longer time we specifically promised at checkout), we will notify you and offer the option to cancel for a full refund of the product price and any shipping fees already paid. You may instead agree to a new shipping date.

4. Delays, Lost or Damaged Shipments, and Legal Protections

We make every reasonable effort to ship on time, but we are not liable for delays outside our direct control.

Force Majeure & Carrier Delays
We are not responsible for delays or failures to ship caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) carrier delays, severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or supply-chain disruptions (“Force Majeure”).

Liability Once Shipped

  • Once we hand your package to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
  • We are not liable for loss, theft, damage, or delay that occurs while the package is in the carrier’s possession.
  • You must file any claims for lost or damaged packages directly with the carrier using the tracking number we provide.
  • We recommend you consider adding insurance at checkout for high-value items (where available).

Incorrect Shipping Address


You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address you supplied. If a package is returned to us because of an address error, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges to re-send it.

Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to any order (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific product(s) and shipping fees in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
